The MKP series limit (two-scale) micrometers are designed to measure external limit dimensions. Limit micrometers are equipped with two micro screws. During measurement, one screw is set to the maximum limit position of the part and the other to the minimum limit value of the part.
The measured part is inserted sequentially between the measuring surfaces of the micrometer to determine whether the part is suitable.
