The centering device is used when installing workpieces, fixtures, and technological equipment on a machine tool to position them relative to the equipment spindle with the required accuracy.
The positioning accuracy is determined by the division price (0.01 mm) of the dial indicator used.
The center finder is necessary for determining the centers of circles and the axes of parallel surfaces when working on universal machines.
